During October and November 2007, Deepa Panchamia undertook an Artist Residency in Fiskars, Finland. Inspired by Finland’s captivating autumn and winter landscape, she created a series of mountainous sculptures entitled ‘Syksy ja Talvi’, which reflected the seasonal textures, contours and qualities of her surroundings.
